Derek Hutchinsons Archer Automaton vollendet

Derek Hutchinson (UK) hat nun sein langjähriges Projekt eines mechanischen Bogenschützen in eleganter Weise zu Ende gebracht. Er schreibt dazu: „The timing of the arms isn’t quite right yet… I want them to lift up together, and I’d like the right hand to come up higher (I’m after a medieval style draw). I’ve made a new cam and the arms are working together now 🙂 It’s still a bit temperamental, but very satisfying when it works. This now has the heavier bow, and I’ll have to see how far it will shoot! The action starts on a push button (motor gearbox purchased from Ebay)“
