Kuronushi (JP): Schattenkunst

Der junge Japaner wurde sehr schnell in den social media viral. Das wäre auch feiner Content für Werner Nekes (1944-2017), „Media Magica“, gewesen !

  1. Hi!

    Long time reader, occasional commenter.
I lived in Germany from 63 to 67 (zwibrukken) Canadian airforce child.
I went to October fest one of those years, the Haunted ride/house was formative to me,
I remember many things about it, the witch sawing someone in half on the roof, hair dragging over my face in the dark, and SPECIFICALLY a movie inside the ride, projected on a small screen up near the ceiling. It showed a very cute girl in a very short dress on a swing. Each time she swung forward you got a better glance at the fact she had no underwear on.
she was swinging forward again and I was about to get the sight of my young life,
When POW! You went through the next doors.
I was hooked on ghost houses forever.

Perhaps you will consider posting about these wonderful attractions as the outsides are covered with automatons.
    And perhaps,
I will be lucky enough to recognize the one I went on when I was between 5 and 7 years old.

Thank you for your hard work.
    Your pal
    Scott.

  2. Thank you Scott for your kind and interesting comment !
If you know good books about the history of haunting houses
as an attraction where you has pay for, if you want visit it,
let me know it. Do you have also a tradition of wandering attractions,
rides aso to a temporarely limited fairground like the Oktoberfest or a lot
of others similar events in germany ? What you saw as a child was a Geisterbahn,
a ride and not a haunted house.
    All the best
    Falk
