Ron Fullers Meisterstück wieder zurück im Laxfield Museum (UK)

Nach 15 Jahren im Einsatz als Donation Box (münzbetätigter Automat) im Museum Laxfield benötigte dieser wundervolle Automat eine Reparatur, die Ron Fullers damaliger Partner bei den Arbeiten zur Steurungselektronik , Philipp Plunkett, kürzlich ausführen konnte. Er machte auch dieses Video und schrieb auszugsweise im Infotext:

„Ron Fuller lived in Laxfield for the last part of his life. The local museum commissioned him to make a collection box and Ron had the idea of an ‚old fashioned‘ schoolroom.
In 2005 a chance meeting at Craftco (Southwold) started a collaboration that allowed me to assist Ron with the control and sequencing of his amazing automaton.  All the artistry (magic), modelmaking and construction was carried out by Ron.I produced the electronics, power supplies, sound reproduction and micro-processor programming.
The songs are all sung by pupils at his local school, recorded by the parish vicar.  There are six pupils and each will sing his/her own song when the corresponding push-button is pressed. When the seventh button is pressed they will all stand and sing. This video only shows the seventh song. To hear the others travel to Laxfield (in season) with plenty of pound coins.“

Anmerkung : Laxfield liegt in der Nähe des ostenglischen Badeortes Southwold , das für die Kenner des Künstlers Tim Hunkin ein Begriff ist, der dort seine berühmte Alternativ-Arcade auf der viktorianischen Pier hat.
