Es ist eine neue Arbeit des kalifornischen Künstlers, der dazu Folgendes im YT-Info schreibt: „Filament is a new kinetic sculpture about 5 feet in diameter. It adds together three waveforms. Two waves act radially in and out, while the third goes up and down. The top mechanism has a single small electric motor that acts through levers and a complex string pattern to give the motion. One of the challenges was that the lower aluminum elements had to squeeze together when they get close, and then spread apart as they get far away. It runs like a champ and makes a soft lovely sound“
